Here at The Fabric Store we have been experimenting with all the beautiful new tweeds that have just landed in-store!
If we have learned anything from the last few collections by Chanel and Proenza Schouler, it’s that tweeds do not have to be synonymous with twinsets and stuffy blazers! Sticking to clean modern cuts and simple lines gives the fabric a whole new lease on life. This boxy sweater is made from an ultra-luxe tweed, with a pop of colour in contrast linen facings and cuffs!
The pattern used for this project was an original, designed by the maker. For a similar look ,we suggest using a simple woven boxy t-shirt/tunic pattern like the Hadley Top by Grainline Studios. If using a pattern intended for knit fabrics, make sure you go up a size or two and that the neck hole is nice and wide!
