Wool-Sapporo-Coat-Pattern-Review-from-The-Fabric-Store---Buy-Fabric-OnlineTo celebrate the release of Papercut Patterns new Sakura collection this week’s post is a pattern feature on the beautiful new Sapporo Coat. Here at The Fabric Store, we were lucky enough to test out a couple of the new patterns before they were released. Sharanna from the HQ team picked the Sapporo Coat, a beautiful cocoon style coat with dropped shoulders and cosy front pockets.

Fabrics | Sharanna chose to use one of the Italian Cashmere Blend coatings that recently arrived in-stores. These luxurious coatings come in a handful of classic winter shades. If you do choose to work with one of these beautiful cashmere blends, it’s important to know that the fabric does have a nap, so do make sure you cut out all pattern pieces going the same way. To line the coat, Sharanna used the Black Spot Jacquard Silk Satin which is available in the online store & NZ stores.

Lining-Sapporo-Coat-Pattern-Review-from-The-Fabric-Store---Buy-Fabric-OnlinePattern |  The Sapporo Coat is perfect for any season and can be made up in a range of fabrics. This pattern is now available in stores worldwide.  If you don’t live local to any of our stores, you can purchase them online at papercutpatterns.com.

Grey-Sapporo-Coat-Pattern-Review-from-The-Fabric-Store---Buy-Fabric-OnlineAs far as coats go this one was definitely on the easier side compared to other coats and is possible to make up in a day. With no fancy collars or buttonholes, it really is a great option for a simple Winter coat.
