Quinn Shirt | Pattern Review

Having just received our latest shipment of  Liberty of London cotton lawns & poplins, we decided to get back to basics – with a good ol’ button down shirt! The ‘Quinn Shirt’ by Named Patterns struck a chord with us, it has a classic, preppy look but with a twist – an overlapping collar, fold back cuffs and a chic little front vent. Love!

Supplies | Named Clothingise a Finnish indie design company, with a bunch of super-chic and innovative patterns under their belt. You can purchase the ‘Quinn shirt’ pattern online at  – http://www.namedclothing.com/
You will also need a healthy helping of dressmaking pins, nice sharp sewing shears, fusible interfacing and buttons.Fabric | Liberty Tana Lawn – Rachel De Thame
This luxuriously smooth, lightweight shirting is a dream to sew and feels amazing to wear! View more of our beautiful Liberty Of London prints here.

The extra details are really what makes the ‘Quinn Shirt’ special, in particular, we love the super-chic little overlapping collar. So cute! Despite being rich in colour, the abstract leaf print is super versatile, and looks awesome with both eye-popping bights and more subtle shades. We even loved it when paired with a textured denim! (as pictured). Who woulda thought?
