Bias Cut Skirt | Project Diary

Our Brisbane store manager Katie has been busy whipping up some lovely wardrobe pieces for her upcoming travels. This week on the blog we decided to share one of those pieces with you for some travel fashion inspiration.

Fabrics | Linen – Paprika
Katie chose Paprika from our exclusive linen collection for this skirt which is available in-stores worldwide & online here. It will be cool, comfortable and pack lightly. The linen drapes beautifully on the bias but is firm enough not to be clingy like a typical bias skirt. Shop the rest of our exclusive linen colours in-store or onlinePattern | This skirt was self-drafted by Katie but you can achieve a similar result with Skirt No. 1 by Sonya Philip. Katie’s top was made with Simplicity 2054 altering it slightly with a gathered sleeve.

Katie is looking forward to travelling in her hand-made wardrobe & we can’t wait to see some pictures when she returns! While she might be travelling to the tropics, this linen skirt will see her through all seasons; paired up with merino in winter or cotton in summer.
