Alder Shirtdress | Pattern Review

Our Brisbane girls Hannah, Genevieve and Belle have been busy making up super cute outfits for their window display using some of our new Liberty Corduroy. This week we give you a close up on Genevieve’s Dress which features some beautiful hand embroidered detailing on the collar and pocket as well as a gold bee button.

Fabric | Liberty Corduroy – Tiny Poppytot
If you have not yet laid eyes on Liberty corduroy it is well worth the trip to see and handle it. It has a fine wale and is incredibly soft to touch with a great drape – perfect for a wide range of garments. Other fabrics that would look great made up in this pattern would be any of our linen styles or for something slightly warmer,  Liberty Lantana.

Pattern | Grainline Studio – Alder Shirtdress
This pattern requires about 2.5m of fabric depending on the width of the fabric and your size. The Brisbane girls all said they made no adjustments to this pattern and they love the fit. They also think the collar looks best with a good weight interfacing otherwise you get a much softer look.
